Karim Webb is the Founder and CEO of 4thMVMT, Inc., the largest social equity cannabis company in the United States, and majority owned by African Americans (“4thMVMT”). Mr. Webb is an accomplished entrepreneur, community organizer, philanthropist and city commissioner.
Prior to founding 4thMVMT, Mr. Webb co-founded and owns PCF Restaurant Management, a Los Angeles based franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings (“BWW”). Under Mr. Webb’s leadership, his company has successfully opened four restaurants in the Los Angeles area, and three more currently in development. As owner/operator, all four of Mr. Webb’s locations have consistently outpaced regional and national sales trends within the industry and have produced double-digit sales increases. The Crenshaw location was recognized for achieving the highest sales percentage increase of any Buffalo Wild Wings in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively.
In addition to Mr. Webb’s business experience operating highly successful restaurant/retail businesses, Mr. Webb was an advisor to the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA), an educational non-profit that helps companies maximize their Return-on-Investment by engaging diverse cultural groups through the concept of “Cultural Intelligence.” In advising MFHA members, Mr. Webb has assisted with increased successes for numerous businesses.
Mr. Webb also sits on the Board of Directors of the California Community Foundation (“CCF”), the Board of Corporate Advisor’s for the Brotherhood Crusade and is a spokesperson for BLOOM, an initiative of CCF which seeks to create a more positive and productive future for 14-18 year old Black males living in South Los Angeles who are, or have been, under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department. Mr. Webb has changed lives of many young minorities through mentorship and financial support.
Most recently Mr. Webb was appointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti as Commissioner of the City of Los Angeles Airport Commission, based upon his achievements described above and not mentioned herein.
