In Fall 2017, Hope Wiseman became the youngest Black woman dispensary owner in the United States with the opening of Mary + Main dispensary opening in Prince George’s County, Maryland set for Summer 2018. This title has garnered her much national success that has led to national media placements and speaking engagements around the country.Â

In 2018, Wiseman established Maryland Grown Medicine, LLC with the purpose of assisting and maintaining 100% minority ownership throughout all stages of business development of the company. Wiseman hopes to use this new venture to bring jobs to communities negatively affected by the war on drugs through community outreach and education. Rita Montoya, aka ChiCannaMaryland, is a social justice and medical cannabis patient advocate. Her training as an attorney, specifically as a Public Defender, and her life long experiences with chronic illness and pain inform every part of her purpose-driven life. As Chair of Safe Access Maryland, a chapter of Americans for Safe Access, Montoya joins medical cannabis patients just like her to educate the community, advocate for safe, legal medication access and create patient-focused policy in all levels of Maryland government. She believes all Maryland medical cannabis should be ethically sourced cannabis which inherently includes adequate representation of Brown and Black people within the industry.

With over 15 years of experience as a medical coding auditor, educator and physician trainer with focus on clinical documentation improvement and better patient outcomes, Roilyn has become a resilient voice for medical cannabis in Maryland!Glenn's educational background includes a MA in Counseling Psychology and a Doctor in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College in Los Angeles. He has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Stockholm, Sweden a graduate certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the University of Derby in the U.K.
